The New Guinea Tigerfish Datnoids or NGT Datnoids are a semi-aggressive species. As the name suggests, these beautiful fish have a unique tigerlike striped texture. NGT Datnoids fish can grow up to 18 inches and require at least a 180 gallon tank.
The New Guinea Datnoids are carnivores. You can feed them whitebait, cockles, mussels, shrimps, live or frozen meaty food, and protein rich pellets. In simple words, they require a high-quality protein-rich diet. Baby NGT Datnoids are friendly, but adults can be aggressive and territorial. They will eat smaller fishes and may bully species that look similar. It is best to keep them separate. They have a life span of 5-8 years.
